Postpartum Support Group

10:15am will be a time to just settle in, ground our minds as best we can, grab a cup of tea, coffee or water. Our session will go from 10:30-11:30am. Babies are welcome in class. Children are welcome and are encouraged to use our explorative play and imaginative centers while we meet. Care is provided.

This journey has been an incredible ride. Just before Thanksgiving 2022, I woke up with an overwhelming need to share my story. In between my oldest daughter’s sleeping breaths, and my own emotions flooding my computer screen, I typed out my story between 6 and 7am. It just came. It was time. I publicly shared my birth and postpartum story for the first time. Not many had known what my family or I had gone through before that moment. At the time, I had no idea why I was experiencing any of the postpartum symptoms I was having. I now have a healthy, beautiful 2 1/2 year old and the world is so much different. I’m here to believe in hope and getting the help others need. I stand strongly behind the topic of mental health. I’m here to normalize the way in which we live in the world of postpartum expectations. I have known since I started feeling better that I wanted to provide a place for others to openly and honestly share and get the help they need without judgment.
